What is the Damage Waiver?
It's a convenient way for you to avoid worrying about accidental damages during your rental. By opting in, you won't be held responsible for minor mishaps like spills or small scratches. It's like having peace of mind throughout your rental period. However, do keep in mind that it's non-refundable and an optional add-on, and you're free to choose whether to include it or not. The damage waiver fee is $10 for the entire booking.
What is the Security Deposit?
It's a standard procedure to ensure that any potential damages or extra charges during your rental are covered. The security deposit acts as a safety net, and you'll get it back in full as long as there are no damages or outstanding fees when you return the item. We completely understand that accidents can happen, so the deposit is just a precautionary measure to protect both parties.
The security deposit fee is $100 per bicycle or $175 per e-bike. It’s authorized at Pickup as a hold on a credit card. Once you've successfully returned your rental without damage, we'll promptly refund the full amount back to you. For minor damage, partial refunds are possible.
